Built for Minnesota driveways.
RevaFlex Paving was engineered around the failure modes that beat up driveways in central Minnesota. It does not crack from freeze-thaw, and it tolerates plow blades and road salt without degrading. The operating range is -148°F to 135°F, which covers any winter Wright County actually sees by a margin of more than a hundred degrees.
Why it works in central Minnesota.
Does not crack from freeze-thaw. The defining failure mode for concrete driveways in this climate is freeze-thaw cracking. Water gets into a hairline crack, freezes, expands, and the slab opens up a little more every winter. RevaFlex Paving flexes with the substrate instead of fracturing, so the cycle that destroys concrete does not destroy this surface.
Salt and plow safe. Plow it. Salt it. The surface is rated for both. Asphalt potholes when plow blades catch seams, and sealed concrete chips along the edges from road salt. RevaFlex Paving holds.
Cold-weather rated to -148°F. The number sounds like overkill for a Minnesota driveway because it is. The point is that any winter day Albertville actually sees, including the -30°F mornings, sits well inside the safe operating range.
Installs over your existing driveway. If your slab is structurally sound but the surface is failing, RevaFlex Paving overlays it. No tear-out, no haul-away, no re-pour. The job is faster and cheaper, and the surface you have today becomes the prepped substrate for the new one.
Why RevaFlex Paving
Built for the work. Holds up over time.
Six structural reasons we recommend it for driveways, shops, and high-traffic entry pads.
Salt and snow plow safe
Stable from -148°F to 135°F. Plow blades and rock salt do not break it down. Asphalt potholes; concrete cracks. RevaFlex Paving holds.
Load-bearing
Withstands vehicle and forklift traffic. Driveways, shop floors, and commercial entry pads spec to the same surface.
Two install methods
Pours over an existing concrete or asphalt surface, or sets over a compacted aggregate base when no slab is in place.
Half-inch finished thickness
Standard 12.7 mm pour with Schluter trim closing the edges. Flush with adjacent surfaces so there is no tripping hazard.
Slip-resistant when wet
A driveway you can actually walk on after the rain. Most heavy-duty paving sacrifices grip for load capacity. RevaFlex Paving keeps both.
Chemical resistance
Resists gasoline, motor oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid. Garage and shop floors stay clean instead of staining.
What RevaFlex Paving is.
RevaFlex Paving is a denser, load-bearing variant of the RevaFlex residential surface. The aggregate is a thick blend of recycled SBR plus EPDM rubber bound with resin, mixed and applied on site to a standard half-inch thickness. The surface withstands vehicle and forklift traffic, so it works for residential driveways, shop floors, car wash bays, trailer parking, and commercial entranceways alike.

Installation specifics.
Half-inch standard thickness. All Paving installs are poured to ½ inch (12.7 mm). The thickness is what gives the surface its load-bearing characteristics.
Schluter trim for closed edges. Schluter aluminum trim sets around the perimeter prior to surface application. It does two jobs at once. It creates a clean closed edge that finishes the install, and it doubles as a thickness guide for the crew during the pour. Multiple trim finishes are available so the perimeter can match the color choice or contrast with it.
Vanishing-edge installs need extra prep. For edges that meet grass or soil instead of a hard boundary, the prep work pulls the dirt and grass back ahead of the install and replaces it after the surface fully cures. Vanishing edges are more labor than closed edges, so we walk through the trade-off during the estimate and pick the right edge treatment for your specific layout.
Drains and fixtures get ground flush. Drains, garage thresholds, and any protruding fixtures are often ground down before the pour so the new surface installs flush. Flush transitions prevent tripping hazards and let water run the way it is supposed to.
Two install methods. Method one lays Paving over an existing concrete or asphalt substrate when that substrate is sound. The existing surface is cleaned, primed, and Paving is applied directly on top. Method two builds on a compacted aggregate base when there is no existing hard surface to work from. Both methods finish at the same half-inch thickness with the same load-bearing characteristics.

Driveways
Residential driveways
Most driveways pour over the existing slab. Cracks underneath flex with the surface above instead of telegraphing through.
